Course Description

Join with your student to help them create a Writing Resource Folder they will be able to use every single day this year to increase their writing and overall Language Arts confidence! Included are skills, topics and helpful print outs they will use to make their folder. Studies show that using a writing resource folder during writing practice and instruction helps exponentially in regular use of writing elements. This class is meant to be attended by both student AND parent - students will be gluing and creating folder as we discuss the uses for this resource folder and the directions to complete - as well as writing resources provided by Springs, available to purchase and free that will enhance student success! Also included is a giant list of writing resources - online resources, writing activities, ideas and toys/games, as well as products you can order with flex funds and games and activities that will make your Grade 3-5 student a Magnificent Writer!
