Course Description

Mini art lessons, big time fun! In this 4 week virtual class for 1st–5th graders, students will learn a new art skill each session. With step-by-step guidance, kids will create a hands-on project using the skill of the week, building their creativity and confidence as young artists. By the end of each class, they’ll have a completed artwork and a new technique to add to their toolbox! In this session we will do projects learning about positive and negative space, cool colors, form and perspective, lines and patterns. Supply List for Students: Basic art supplies - construction paper, watercolor paper, scissors, glue sticks and liquid glue, markers, watercolor paints, paint brushes, oil pastels. A list of the specific supplies will be sent by email the week before class starts.
