Course Description
Booking Begins February 14th at 1pm Course Begins February 22nd Join me for a classic story of intrigue and magic. Students in grades 3rd through 6th will read through The Indian and the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks and discuss unfamiliar vocabulary, idioms, and social studies topics related to The Indian in the Cupboard. I attempt to make the reading light and fun by changing my voice for the various characters in the story so that your children will not simply be listening to a teacher read - I do attempt to make it entertaining. This class is intended to be a light after lunch activity in which the participants will be active listeners. There will be no required homework assignments although from time to time I give the kids an option to make a story related piece of art, story of their own, poem, or even song - but again not required. This class will be beneficial for high reading 3rd graders, 4th graders, 5th graders, and struggling reader 6th graders. Please join me for some fun with this creative story as we journey through this magical story. If course is fully booked, please contact us to be put on the waitlist.
