Course Description

Mastering multiplication facts is such an important skill for students! Students can easily get frustrated if they are trying to learn more challenging math concepts, but they still struggle with basic multiplication facts. If they can master the basics, all other math concepts are so much easier to learn. In this weekly class we will focus on a group of facts each week, 0-12, using skip counting, flashcards, worksheets, and fun games! We will also do a pretest and posttest at the beginning and end of every class, and I will provide a "Fast Facts" opportunity for additional learning and practice in between classes. This class is for students who are just starting to learn multiplication (2nd or 3rd graders), or for higher grade students (4th and 5th graders) who haven't really mastered their multiplication facts yet. This is not a class for students who already have a good grasp of multiplication and would just like to review their facts.
