Course Description

Join with your student to help them create a Language Arts Resource Folder they will be able to use every single day this year to increase their reading and writing and overall Language Arts confidence! Included are skills, topics and helpful print outs they will use to make their folder. Studies show that using a resource folder during practice and instruction helps exponentially in regular use of skills. This class is meant to be attended by both student AND parent - students will be gluing and creating folder as we discuss the uses for this resource folder and the directions to complete - as well as resources provided by Springs, available to purchase and free that will enhance student success! Also included is a giant list of Language Arts resources - online resources, reading lists, tips and tricks, reading and writing activities, ideas and toys/games, as well as products you can order with flex funds and games and activities that will make your Grade 3-5 student a Magnificent Reader and Writer!
