Course Description

students will explore the science behind how plants grow while developing responsibility, observation skills, and environmental awareness. Each week, students will engage in live teacher-led instruction, guided planting demonstrations, interactive discussions, and mini challenges. Even families without outdoor space can fully participate using small containers on patios, balconies, or windowsills. Supply List for Students: Small pots or recycled containers (3–4 per student) Potting soil Fast-growing seeds (beans, radish, lettuce) Herb seeds ( student choice of 3) Watering can or spray bottle Gardening gloves (optional) Hand trowel (optional) * ALL items can be found at the local Walmart, target, or Home Depot
