Course Description

Plants come in all shapes and sizes! We will learn about different kinds of plants, like flowers, vegetables, and trees. We will explore how each plant has special needs to grow in the best way. Climate and Where Plants Grow Best: Did you know that different plants love different types of weather? Some plants like the heat of the sun, while others prefer the cool shade. We will learn about how climate affects plant growth, so we can grow the right plants in the right place. Watering Plants: Just like us, plants need water to grow strong and healthy! But not all plants need the same amount of water. We will learn how to tell when a plant is thirsty and how to water it properly without overdoing it. Taking Care of Plants: Growing plants is like taking care of a pet! We will discover how to make sure plants get enough light, water, and food (fertilizer). Plus, we’ll talk about how to keep them safe from pests and how to keep the soil healthy so they can grow big and strong. AND SO MUCH MORE! By the end of this class, you’ll be ready to start your own little garden and watch your plants grow with love and care!
