Course Description

This five-week early elementary ELA program nurtures young learners’ reading, writing, and speaking skills through phonics practice, simple story comprehension, vocabulary development, sentence building, and introductory nonfiction writing. Lessons emphasize hands-on learning, drawing-to-write strategies, discussion, and storytelling. Students build confidence decoding words, retelling stories, writing complete sentences, and sharing their ideas with others. Supply List for Students: paper and pencil
