Course Description

Mini art lessons, big time fun! In this 4 week virtual class for 1st–5th graders, students will learn a new art skill each session. With step-by-step guidance, kids will create a hands-on project using the skill of the week, building their creativity and confidence as young artists. By the end of each class, they’ll have a completed artwork and a new technique to add to their toolbox! In this session we will do projects learning about primary and secondary colors, warm colors, texture, and complementary colors. Supply List for Students: Basic art supplies - construction paper, scissors, glue sticks and liquid glue, markers, paint, paint brushes. A list of the specific supplies will be sent by email the Friday before each class.
