Course Description

Explore the stars, stripes, and sights that make our nation shine! Students will discover the significance of some of our country’s most important symbols and landmarks — including the American Flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Bald Eagle, and more! Through fun and engaging activities, they’ll uncover the stories behind each iconic symbol and find answers to curious questions like: “Is a Bald Eagle really bald?”, “Why is the Statue of Liberty green?”, and “Can we ring the Liberty Bell?” As they learn about the history and meaning of these national treasures, students will gain a deeper understanding of what they represent — and feel proud to be a part of our great country!
