What the Class Is This course is a hands-on, game-based test preparation experience designed to strengthen the reading, writing, and math skills students need for the CAASPP state assessment. Instead of traditional worksheets, students review standards-aligned content through collaborative challenges that reinforce critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic confidence. How Students Will Participate Students will work through themed “escape room” challenges where they solve puzzles, decode clues, answer standards-based questions, and complete mini-missions tied to test concepts. Activities include team collaboration, timed problem solving, strategy discussions, and reflection on test-taking approaches — all within a fun and supportive environment that keeps engagement high.
