Course Description

In this project-based learning class, students in grades 4th-6th will create their own miniature 3D version of a tiny house while applying math concepts such as area, perimeter, and geometry. This activity also focuses on design elements and problem solving skills. The size of the houses will all be the same, but each student will create a unique version based on their own ideas, imagination, and application of skills. No two houses will be the same! Supply List for Students: The "Build a Tiny House" activity pages for each class will be emailed the day before each class and must be printed before class starts; crayons or colored pencils, scissors, tape, glue.
