Course Description

What the Class Is: Students will embark on a fast-paced virtual journey through different regions of the world while exploring geography, cultures, landmarks, languages, history, and everyday life. How Students Will Participate: Travelers will navigate maps, make travel decisions, manage a virtual budget, solve geography and culture challenges, compare destinations, explore currency and transportation, and compete in Amazing Race-inspired challenges as they journey around the globe. Outcome / Benefit: Students will strengthen geography and cultural literacy while practicing research, budgeting, decision-making, map skills, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. Supply List for Students: Printed travel passport and challenge pages (provided by instructor) Pencil or pen Colored pencils or markers Scratch paper Calculator (optional; a device calculator is fine)
