Teaching Information Writing for K - 2nd grade

Teaching writing is difficult, but this workshop is designed to make it easier! Homeschool ES and published author, Kelly Harrel, will lead you in how you can train your student to be successful in informational writing. Kelly will walk you through the process using the Step-Up-To-Writing curriculum and will give you links to ALL the resources, including a week’s worth of writing homework. This workshop is for parents, not students. It may be appropriate for parents of older students who struggle with writing structure (students who can not successfully write a three-paragraph essay of more than 12 sentences). This is part of the Homeschool Prep course, but all Springs parents are welcome to attend.
